Working principle of high speed powder mixer
Nov 28, 2023 View: 204 Leave a message
High-speed powder mixer is a type of equipment commonly used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and other industries to uniformly mix different granular or powder materials. Its working principle is based on the following steps:

1. Adding materials: First put the powder or granular materials to be mixed into the container of the mixer. These materials can be of different compositions or particles of different particle sizes.

2. Mixing: Once the material is placed in the container, the mixer starts rotating. Typically, a mixer has one or more rotating mixing blades or agitators inside. These blades or agitators rotate at high speeds, pushing the material toward the edges of the container and pulling it back to the center. This process is repeated so that the materials are evenly mixed inside the container.

3. Heating or cooling (optional): In some cases, the mixing process requires heating or cooling of materials. This can be achieved by heating or cooling systems inside the mixer to ensure the required temperature conditions.

4. Mixing time: Mixing time depends on the degree of mixing required and the characteristics of the material. Typically, smaller granules or powders require shorter mixing times, while larger granules may require longer mixing times.

5. Unloading: After mixing is completed, take out the mixed materials from the mixer. This can be done by opening the mixer outlet or tilting the container.

High-speed powder mixers achieve uniform mixing of powder or granular materials by rotating the mixing blade or stirrer to push the material to the edge of the container and pull it back to the center. This working principle ensures the effect and quality of mixing, making the mixing process more efficient and controllable.
